Oops I didn't get this.. No the change accounts because of the money grabbing attitude of Fabriano. .... I didn't see anyone asking for such a change. Fabriano wanted probably to increase its profits and so bound the sketchbooks with lighter paper.

Try this:

The change that Fabriano made (for whatever reason) to the paper in the Venezia sketchbooks probably accounts for the change of attitude to the sketchbooks with the lesser paper by quite a few constant sketchers.

Hi Rajesh,

Sorry burf - I tend to be very irregular on the forum :( - just saw your post

My supplies and sources:

1. I live in India. Where are you based burf?
2. Handbook Journal sketchbook - 5.5x3.5 inches: Sourced from US. Usually Amazon.com.
3. Daniel Smith, some Winsor Newtons colors: Sourced from US. Usually Amazon.com.
4. Nowadays - having fun with a small Winsor Newton field sketching "watercolor pans" - the colors are actually Cotman and cheap but am ok with them! Purchased in US - while there on a business trip
5. Brush: Koi Medium Waterbrush. Purchased in a local store in India

Hope this helps!
