An Amazing gift from Magikelly!

Postby Russ » Thu Jun 25, 2015 12:42 pm

I got a surprise in the mail from Magikelly today. Well, it was a surprise when I first heard it was in the works, then we corresponded as the work progressed.

This amazing leather cover fits a softcover Large Moleskine (which he also supplied), which I can use for journaling, since I tend to stay with one type of book for journaling rather than switch back and forth as I've been doing with sketchbooks. And I tend to write about sketching more than actually sketch on some days.

Since this cover will outlive me, I asked him to use my last name only, so it can get some future use as a family treasure.

A million thanks, John! And I owe you big time!

Very nice indeed. A leather cover makes every book a pleasure to handle, and an inducement to pick up a journal or a sketchbook every day.

Thanks. I'm just glad Russ likes it.

Andre it right there is something very tactile about a leather cover that makes you want to hold and use it.
