Can I add a quicktime movie attachment?

I could explain a concept with a quicktime clip from my dvd. It would be about 30 seconds long. I can make it small.
If I can upload this format, it would save me time explaining things.

You certainly have permission to upload anything that you can. Is it physically possible? I have no idea. I'm sure gpathy knows. If you try it, we will all know.

I just tried it, and it was rejected. I got the impression that the admin can add allowed formats. Yes? No?
The format is .mov

I searched around the admin control panel (several pages of buttons, the majority of which I dare not monkey with) but did not find anything that specified which types of attachments are allowed. Perhaps gpathy will be able to set us straight; he's the custodian with the brains. I'm the one with the broom and a bucket of sawdust.

If all else fails, I'm sure you can link to it if it resides somewhere else on the web.

Yeah, I could link to it, but I normally use flickr which has a nudity prohibition, and this particular movie has virtual nudity.
I dread having to look for new places to post quicktime movies, as they will all be puritanical.
